No photos taken today, the following are some more from yesterday the 11th, one of these photos has no reflection in it:
The Caretaker has been on the Island since last Saturday but late this morning he had to pick something up from the mainland and so he kayaked over. He was able to paddle about 2/3rds of the way over, the other third he had to push himself across the dodgey ice while in the kayak via ski poles, it worked quite well. By the middle of next week at the latest the Caretaker expects to be able to paddle the entire way.
