No new photos, just more from 2007.
Apologies to those who get the TCC e-mailed to their in-box, the multiple re-postings were due to some "housekeeping" for the blog, and apologies to the followers on facebook who happened to come across the dead links. The Caretaker is currently away, he will return later today. It is currently raining where he is, his original plan was to accompany family and friends for a picnic on the Hudson river and then see a performance of "Taming of the Shrew", well, family and friends were going to see it, the Caretaker got wind of it a little to late to get a ticket, sold out, the Caretaker was thinking he would go for the picnic and then either see if he could pay for standing room or just sneak in, failing that he'd just carry on up to the Island. Anyway, it's raining now and looks to be raining for the rest of the day so there won't likely be a picnic and perhaps no Shakespeare, oh well. The Caretaker has had quite a weekend, details will follow in tomorrow's post but here's an outline:
Found new favorite bar in the Village (55 Bar, $7 Martinis!)
Saw new favorite band perform (Becca Stevens Band)
Saw a great jazz trio (Can't recall the name at the moment)
Saw a Grammy nominated Latin band (same as above)
Seaplane flying
Forest fire
Lost track of the number of martinis consumed over past 4 days
Etc.
